Well done Rm13 for a successful morning dissecting Arrow Head Squid!
It was Gloves on, sleeves rolled up, windows open and rulers and scissors poised for action. The room was a humm of excitement and wonder.
Thank you to those of you who had the opportunity to share your learning with the Rm6 children while they came to observe. I'm very proud of you all.
Looking for the ink sac was tricky, whilst trying not to pop the stomach! (Stinky!!!)
Popping out the squids beak using hands only, was also tricky business. Admirable job completed by everyone. A jar of squid beaks are now on display in the classroom!
Alex and his group were super organised in their dissection plan. This group made dissection look like a work of art.
The ultimate challenge: Making Squid Rings into Olympic Rings!
Fantastic work!
